The AMASS consortium has continued its extensive dissemination activity during the last months, such as the preparation of publications at different conferences and workshops. The partners have also participated in several European events.

The first AMASS project review was held on June 9th, 2017, at ECSEL premises in Brussels.

The AMASS consortium gathered together in Seville on March 29th, 30th, and 31st for the 3rd General Meeting of the project. The meeting was hosted by Schneider Electric. Forty-three people attended the meeting.

Among the existing open technologies that the AMASS consortium has chosen to build the AMASS Tool Platform, Papyrus is one of the main technological solutions selected. More concretely, Papyrus will support system modelling in AMASS.

MODELSWARD 2017, the 5th International Conference on Model-Driven Engineering and Software Development, was held from February 19th to 21st in Porto, Portugal. This conference aims to provide a platform to present research results and development activities in using models and model-driven engineering techniques for software development.

The AMASS consortium is already working on the development of the technological solutions of which the AMASS Tool Platform will consist. This work is adopting and extending existing open technologies. EPF (Eclipse Process Framework) is an example of such technologies.

The AMASS consortium has analysed the possible adoption and extension of existing technologies that could allow the project to reach its objectives. Among these technologies, OpenCert has been chosen as main base tool for management of assurance and compliance.

Previous posts have reported on AMASS presence at different conferences, workshops, and meetings, mostly at research-oriented ones (e.g. SAFECOMP 2016). However, the project’s dissemination activity has not been limited to only academic audiences, but AMASS has also been introduced at several industry-targeted events.

The AMASS deliverables that present the baseline for the project have already been published. These deliverables review the state of the art and the state of the practice related to the four scientific and technical objectives of the project: Architecture-Driven Assurance, Multi-Concern Assurance, Seamless Interoperability, and Cross- and Intra-Domain Reuse.

The AMASS consortium gathered together in Munich on October 27th and 28th for the 2nd General Meeting of the project. The meeting was hosted by Infineon at its headquarters, and 47 people attended the meeting, with representatives from all the partners.
