AMASS is already present at international conferences!
AMASS dissemination work will play a major role so that the project reaches its expected impact. This work has indeed been going on since the beginning of the project. From the description of the background technologies to the explanation of what the project aims to achieve, AMASS partners are contributing to project dissemination. The work has already been materialised via the participation of several partners in different international conferences.
EclipseCon France 2016 was held in Toulouse between June 7th and 9th. EclipseCon France is the Eclipse Foundation's event dedicated to Eclipse Working Groups, e.g. PolarSys. The event is designed to create opportunities for the French and entire European Eclipse community to learn, explore, share, and collaborate on the latest ideas and information about Eclipse technologies, the Eclipse Working Groups, and Eclipse member companies. As part of the sessions related to PolarSys, Tecnalia presented OpenCert and CEA presented Papyrus. Both are among the key AMASS background technologies.
De-CPS 2016, the 3rd International Workshop on Challenges and new Approaches for Dependable and Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering, took place on June 17th in Florence, in conjunction with the 21st International Conference on Reliable Software Technologies (Ada-Europe 2016). Silvia Mazzini from INTECS presented AMASS in the “Open challenges and new approaches” session. The workshop was also an excellent occasion to network with related EU projects and initiatives, e.g. EuroCPS, INTO-CPS, and U-TEST.
Both The Eclipse Foundation/Polarsys and The Reuse Company were present in the 26th Annual INCOSE International Symposium (July 18th to 21st). This symposium is the largest annual gathering of people who do systems engineering and includes presentations, case studies, workshops, tutorials and panel discussions. The program attracts an international mix of professionals at all levels, and includes practitioners in government and industry, as well as educators and researchers. The presence of the AMASS partners allowed them to present both their current technologies and some of their envisioned work in the project.
AMASS partners will participate in further conferences in the next months, such as ESEM, IDIMT, and SAFECOMP and its associated workshops (ASSURE, DECSoS, SASSUR...). AMASS will also be presented at the upcoming ARTEMIS Technology Conference in October.
